Ego Series

"Ego" is a powerful conceptual sculpture that visualizes the tension between the expansive nature of the self and the forces that repress it. A soft, organic, inflatable form is visibly compressed by two solid concrete blocks. This juxtaposition of materials symbolizes the ego's struggle to expand in the face of internal or external limitations, inviting a deep reflection on identity and the dynamics of personal control.

This sculpture invites the viewer into introspection about identity and the dynamics of personal control. The piece not only represents the struggle for self-containment but also evokes the vulnerability and resilience of the self in the face of the structures that define it. It is a meditation on the delicate balance between self-affirmation and adaptation, and the constant negotiation between the desire for expansion and the need for limits.
